The GMV trap
Your shop did $61,862. So what did you keep?
TikTok Seller Center is very good at telling you how much product moved. It has no idea what that product cost you, what your creators took, what shipping ate, or what your agency invoiced. That gap is where TikTok Shop businesses quietly lose money.
GMV is a vanity number
Headline GMV includes orders that were refunded, discounted, or sent as free samples. Mamba starts from settlement revenue and reconciles down to a net sales base before a single cost is applied.
Costs live in six places
COGS in a spreadsheet, ad spend in Ads Manager, commissions in the affiliate report, fees buried in settlement files, retainers in an invoice. Nobody adds them up weekly. Mamba does it hourly.
Reporting eats the week
Agencies rebuild the same client deck every Monday from four exports. One Snapshot in Mamba replaces the whole ritual, and it is already branded as yours.
TikTok Shop P&L
Every TikTok Shop cost in one profit and loss statement
A real income statement for your shop — not a chart. Platform fees, agency fees, ad spend, service fees, shipping, COGS, affiliate commissions and sample expenses, each itemised and each expandable down to the transactions behind it. It ends where an income statement should: operating income.
- Custom cost lines — add the expenses TikTok has never heard of, prorated across any date range you define.
- COGS coverage stated plainly — “472 of 3,865 order line items have COGS” beats a confident but wrong margin.
- Samples counted as the cost they are — 433 sample orders at zero revenue is $2,382.94 of real money.
- OpEx before and after exclusions, so the gross-profit maths and the operating-income maths both reconcile.
Revenue reconciliation
Start from settlement revenue, not headline GMV
$61,862 of GMV is not $61,862 of revenue. Mamba walks the gap line by line — returns, refunds, seller discounts, discount refunds and indexed adjustments — to a net sales profit base of $49,392. That figure, not GMV, is what gross profit and net profit are calculated from.
- Three headline numbers — GMV, gross profit and net profit, each clickable straight through to its own breakdown.
- Net profit as a percentage of net revenue, the margin figure a buyer or lender will actually ask for.
- Stacked or long-form view — a summary for a call, the full statement for a close.
TikTok Ads attribution
Know what your TikTok ad spend really returned
Cost, attributed orders, cost per order, GMV Max revenue, GMV Max ROI and blended ROAS, pulled from the TikTok Ads API and reconciled against your shop settlement. The same $7,005.60 of ad spend appears here and in your P&L — because it is the same number, not two systems guessing.
- Daily ad spend curve — the two days you paused in August are visible at a glance, and so is what it cost you.
- Campaign and audience tabs for the level below the headline.
- ROAS measured against profit, not just revenue, once your COGS is loaded.
Affiliate creator GMV
See which TikTok creators actually drive your revenue
Root affiliate GMV, video GMV detail and a creator-by-creator split of who produced it. When one creator holds 94.93% of your affiliate revenue, that is not a partnership — that is a single point of failure, and you want to know before they sign with someone else.
- Sortable and filterable on any column — rank by GMV, by share, by units or by videos posted.
- Concentration visible instantly in both the donut and the share column.
- Affiliate vs non-affiliate GMV tracked daily against the comparable prior period.
Creator detail
Drill into any creator, video by video
309 creators, 661 videos, 534,139 impressions, 460 orders and 478 items sold — then open a single creator and see their videos ranked by the GMV each one produced, with impressions, sales per video and change against the prior period.
- Prior-period change per creator — spot the one who tripled and the one who quietly stopped posting.
- GMV per video and sales per video, so a creator with four posts is judged fairly against one with sixty-six.
- Straight through to the TikTok post when you want to see what actually worked.
Snapshot reporting
One Snapshot your client reads in thirty seconds
Snapshot is the report account managers actually send. Pick a shop, pick a date range, and every headline metric renders with its prior-period comparison and a trend line — net profit, gross profit, total GMV, affiliate GMV, videos posted, GMV Max ROI. Tiles for a screen-share, sheet for the spreadsheet person.
- Every metric carries its own sparkline, current against prior, so a number never arrives without context.
- Snapshot by product — run the whole report scoped to a single SKU when a client only wants to discuss their hero product.
- Stored, not recomputed — a Snapshot you sent last month still shows the numbers you sent.
Sheet view
Or hand them the whole sheet
The same Snapshot as a clean two-period table: current, prior, and change. GMV, affiliate split, orders, units, sessions, AOV, CVR, samples sent, videos posted, impressions, ads budget and ads spend — every line a client asks about, already lined up next to last month. Export it as CSV or PDF without reformatting anything.
- One click between tile and sheet — no second report to build.
- Percentage of ad budget spent tracked alongside the spend itself, for pacing conversations.
- CSV and PDF export straight from the header.
Product & inventory analytics
Product-level profitability and stock in the same view
Every SKU with its price, stock on hand, units sold, fulfilment type and COGS status. Jump from any product straight into its own Snapshot or its own P&L. Mamba flags products missing cost data before those gaps quietly distort your shop margin.
- COGS completeness banner — a plain statement of whether your profit numbers can be trusted for this period.
- Card and list views, searchable and filterable by status, fulfilment type and stock level.
- Per-product P&L with shop-level costs allocated by GMV or by units, whichever matches how you think about the business.
Two jobs, one platform
Built for TikTok Shop sellers and the agencies running them
A seller needs to know whether today was profitable. An agency needs to know that across a book of twenty shops, and then prove it. Mamba is the same engine with two front doors.
Daily profit, not monthly guesswork
Open the dashboard and see GMV, net profit and orders for the period, each against the comparable prior window. No exports, no pivot tables, no waiting for your bookkeeper.
COGS and inventory you control
Set cost per SKU once, bulk upload the rest, and every downstream margin figure updates. Stock levels sit beside sales velocity so restock decisions are one screen.
Ad spend judged on profit
TikTok Ads spend lands in the same statement as your COGS and commissions. A campaign that grows GMV while shrinking net profit has nowhere to hide.
Creator performance ranking
Sort your affiliate creators by GMV, share, units or videos. Find the three who matter, and notice when one of them holds 95% of your revenue.
Notifications that mean something
Get told when margin drops, when stock runs low, or when a product's COGS is missing — before it distorts a month of reporting.
Export anywhere
CSV for your accountant, PDF for your investor, API for your data warehouse. Your numbers are not hostage to our interface.
Every seller in one workspace
A portfolio of every shop you manage, each with its onboarding state and latest Snapshot. Switch into any client dashboard without logging out and back in.
Account manager scoping
Assign shops to account managers and coordinators. Each AM opens a home page showing only their book, with the KPIs they are accountable for on every row.
White-label client dashboards
Your brand name, your logo, your colours, your email sender. Linked seller dashboards inherit it, so your client logs into your product, not ours.
Isolation enforced in the database
Tenant separation is implemented with Postgres row-level security and enforced again on the API, not just hidden in the interface.
Client reporting in one click
Create Snapshot straight from the portfolio row. Per shop or per product, branded, exported, sent — the same report every week, every client.
Financial restrictions per seller
Decide which cost lines a client can see or edit. Show them margin without showing them your retainer, or open the books completely. Your call, per shop.

Answers
TikTok Shop analytics, answered
What is TikTok Shop analytics software?
TikTok Shop analytics software pulls order, settlement, advertising and creator data out of TikTok Shop and turns it into reporting a seller can act on. TikTok Seller Center reports GMV and order counts well, but it does not know your cost of goods, your agency retainer or your fulfilment costs, so it cannot tell you what you actually earned. Mamba adds those inputs and reconciles everything into a single net profit figure.
How does Mamba calculate TikTok Shop net profit?
Mamba starts from settlement revenue rather than headline GMV, subtracts returns, refunds and seller discounts to reach a net sales profit base, then deducts cost of goods sold, shipping, TikTok platform and service fees, affiliate commissions, sample expenses, ad spend and any agency fees or custom cost lines you add. Every line is itemised and clickable, so you can see exactly which cost moved your margin.
Can I see Mamba before connecting my TikTok Shop?
Yes. Book a free demo and we will walk you through a live workspace — profit and loss, Snapshot, creator GMV, marketing and products — on a short call, so you can see exactly what your reporting will look like before authorizing anything. It takes about twenty minutes and there is no credit card or commitment.
Does Mamba connect to TikTok Ads as well as TikTok Shop?
Yes. Mamba reads the TikTok Shop API for orders, products, settlements and creator performance, and the TikTok Ads API for campaign spend and results. Ad spend is reconciled against the shop settlement so your marketing numbers and your profit and loss statement agree.
Can agencies manage multiple TikTok Shop sellers in one account?
Yes. An agency workspace holds every seller account it manages, with account managers and coordinators assigned to their own book of shops. Tenant data is isolated at the database level with Postgres row-level security, so an account manager only ever sees the sellers assigned to them.
Can I white label the dashboard for my clients?
Agencies can set their own brand name, logo, colours and email sender identity. Linked seller dashboards inherit that branding, so clients log in to your agency's dashboard rather than a third-party tool.
How long does it take to set up?
Authorizing a TikTok Shop takes a few minutes through TikTok's standard app authorization flow. Historical orders and settlements backfill automatically. Adding cost of goods for your catalogue is the only manual step, and it can be bulk uploaded.
Is Mamba free?
Mamba Seller starts at $29 per month. Free Seller access is available only through approved partner programs. Marketing and Agency plans add advertising intelligence, multi-seller workspaces, white labelling, additional team seats and advanced reporting.
